Heather MacLeod

Heather MacLeod received a BA from the University of Victoria, and has lived in many places throughout northern and western Canada.Heather's first book of poems, My Flesh the Sound of Rain, was published in 1998. Since then, she has published two more books: Shapes of Orion (a chapbook), and The North Woods, co-authored with Coral Hull. Heather's work has appeared in a number of anthologies and in many Canadian literary journals, including Geist, Grain and PRISM International and in journals in the U.S., U.K., Israel, Australia, and New Zealand. In addition, her plays have received honourable mentions from many contests and magazines. Heather, a member of the Mtis Nation Northwest Territories, currently lives and works in British Columbia.
