Laura Lush

Laura Lush was born in Brantford, Ontario in 1959 and grew up in Burlington and Owen Sound, Ontario. She was nominated for a Governor General's Literary Award in 1992 for her first book of poetry, Hometown, and has three poetry collections to her credit. Lush has a B.A. (Hons) from York University and a M.A. in English and Creative Writing from the University of Calgary. Laura Lush lives in Guelph, Ontario and teaches academic English and creative writing at the University of Toronto.
